[ Detoxification ] The Detoxification Rune is used by Dreadnoughts to get unhealthy toxins out of their own body. This Rune cannot be used on other people, no matter what. The Detoxification Rune is represented by a small glowing bubble that appears somewhere over the Dreadnoughts midsection. Usage of this Rune is reflexive, and in most cases, will even key itself while the Dreadnought is unconscious, or sleeping. This gives the Dreadnought relative immunity to any poison or toxic substance that would otherwise enter their system. Level 1: At this level a Dreadnought can counteract a minor poison that's in their system. Automatically negating up to 5 health levels of damage. Level 2: At this level a Dreadnought can counteract a major poison that's in their system. Automatically negating up to 10 health levels of damage. Level 3: At this level a Dreadnought can counteract a lethal poison that's in their system. Level 4: At this level a Dreadnought can counteract a powerful toxin that's in their system. Level 5: At this level a Dreadnought can counteract any foreign substance which would harm them internally, including poisons, diseases, acids, and the like. [ Cleansing ] A Rune most people take for granted, or just skip over, because of its obvious limited uses. Or is it so limited in its uses? It can be used to wash your hands or body, it can be used to wash your car in seconds, it can be used to get rid of dust, allergens, or insects in your home. Or it can be used to clean up the mess that building, the one you wrecked in that last big fight, left. I suppose if you're a glutton for punishment you could always do it by hand... The Cleansing rune is represented by a small amount of water that continuously seems to flow across the surface of the bubble formed by the Detoxification Rune. For each level you get in this rune you may clean a larger area, or a tougher type of filth. See the level powers for details. Level 1: A 10 square foot area may be cleaned, nothing worse than dirt or dust. Level 2: A 30 square foot area may be cleaned, grass stains, normal foods, and mud may be cleaned. Level 3: A 50 square foot area may be cleaned, ink, blood, and dyes may be cleaned. Level 4: A 100 square foot area may be cleaned, small pests may be exterminated. Level 5: A 1000 square foot area may be cleaned, larger pests and bacteria may be purged from the area. [ Purification ] The Purification rune uses pure, clean energy to destroy toxins and impurities in nature, or in the body. The purification rune is represented by a large group of very small teardrop shaped bubbles that form on the inside of the bubble formed by the Detoxification Rune. This Rune is generally used on other people, since it's only a stronger version of the Detoxification Rune. Dreadnoughts with the Purification Rune often find themselves besieged by old people, and those who have cancer or tumors. Using this Rune often will result in addiction. Level 1: Cauterize- Seals a wound and kills any infection present. Level 2: Burn Out- Finds and attacks any impurities in the body, will burn out dead cells, clots, fatty tissue, and any heavy metals which may be present. This may be uncomfortable, or downright painful if there's enough tissue or impurities being destroyed. Level 3: Cleanse- Used to clean up chemical spills or garbage in nature, or other types of waste in the body, yes, using this power a few times a day may cause the individual to no longer need to use the bathroom. Level 4: Rejuvenate- Destroys old or no longer used tissue in the body, also destroys old muscle tissue, bone matter, cancer cells, and other deadly illnesses. Can also be used in nature to get rid of pollution, toxic waste, and dead plant matter. When used with the healing runes this power may cause an individual to become younger in appearance, and in the way they feel. Level 5: Purification- Basically the same as rejuvenate, but it also may purify the body, weapons, armor, and the home, making them impervious to chemical weapons, and keeping impurities from entering. This rune may be used over a large group of people to cure diseases. [ Refinement ] All things have a pure, refined form that is the most perfect specimen that can be achieved. This is not without a price though. The refinement rune takes something, and reduces it, to a certain degree, into individual parts. The higher the level of the rune, the farther it goes. Initially, seawater might be reduced to a puddle of pure water, and a pile of salt. At higher levels, it could be reduced into atomic particles of hydrogen, oxygen, sodium, and all the other little atoms that were floating around in there. This rune has practical uses, such as refining materials to make raw materials that can be recombined into other compounds. It also has nasty uses, like breaking down a person’s sword into atomic particles, or the person into atomic particles, if you’re mad enough. This rune only affects nonliving things until the fifth level, at which point it can be directed at up to one living creature at a time. The Refinement Rune is symbolized by a small tube that forms a link between the top and bottom of the bubble formed by the Detoxification Rune. When used, the water appears to run backwards. Level 1: The Dreadnought may separate a small area into pure compounds. Ie, salt water becomes water and salt. Area of affect may be a sphere up to one foot in radius. Level 2: The Dreadnought may separate a slightly larger area into pure compounds. Area of affect may be a sphere up to 3 feet in radius. Level 3: The Dreadnought may separate an even larger area into pure compounds. Area of affect may be a sphere up to 20 feet in radius. Level 4: The Dreadnought may separate a large area into molecules. Ie, water becomes hydrogen and oxygen. Area of affect may be a sphere up to 20 feet in radius. Level 5: The Dreadnought may refine an area into the most pure form of atomic particles. Ie: Water splits off into neutrons, protons, and electrons. These particles can be reformed into other molecules. Making denser objects equals a loss in overall area, while less dense items equals a gain in overall area. A sphere of up to 50 feet in radius can be affected at this level. |
