[ Healing ]

The Healing Rune is one of the most used runes in existence.  It helps to close wounds, it helps people recover faster, and it can save people's lives if it's used quickly.  The Healing Rune works by causing the energy around a wound knit the flesh back together, this will only work on surface wounds, internal injuries will not be cured by the Healing rune. The Healing Rune is represented by what appears to be a cut on the Dreadnought's body, the cut continuously closes in a line, but then opens up again once the healing has finished.  The cut is not real and causes no pain or health level loss.
Healing is not a fun process, especially for nonDreadnoughts. Healing, by nature, is the act of regrowing, or reattaching cut, or torn, body parts. This means that the body either has to grow new cells, or it has to pull the old parts together, and cement them back with certain substances, or with new cells. As we all know, healing is not painless. In fact, over the long run, healing sometimes hurts worse than the injury itself. The Healing Rune, which goes through the entire process of healing in about 5 seconds, is also subject to these considerations. Healing hurts; and healing with the healing Rune, hurts bad… Really bad in some cases. After a while, a Dreadnought will get used to the feeling of the healing, and some even grow to like it after a long while (sickos!). But, nonDreadnoughts will never get used to the feeling of split second healings. This equates to a full round, per health level healed, of being stunned. You can't do anything but lay there and wish you were dead. Luckily this fades after a few seconds, and you're as good as new.
As the Healing Rune progresses it doesn't gain any new real powers, only the ability to heal extra health levels of damage.

Level 1: The ability to heal one health level every other round.
Level 2: The ability to heal one health level every round.
Level 3: The ability to heal three health levels every other round.
Level 4: The ability to heal two health levels a round.
Level 5: The ability to heal three health levels a round.

[ Regeneration ]

The Regeneration Rune works basically the same as the Healing Rune, in that it causes wounds to close themselves using energy.  The Regeneration Rune, however, can heal internal injuries.  The Regeneration rune is considered to be on at all times for the Dreadnought who has it, it's healing abilities may be used on another person though, for the normal cost of a rune of it's level.  The Regeneration Rune is represented by a rough picture of an organ with a rupture in it being closed.
The Regeneration Rune, like the Healing Rune, does not gain extra powers as it goes up levels, the powers that it starts with do increase though.

Level 1: The Dreadnought may regenerate a health level a round, but only when resting.
Level 2: The Dreadnought may regenerate two health levels a round, again, only when resting.
Level 3: The Dreadnought may regenerate three health levels a round, but only when resting.
Level 4: The Dreadnought may regenerate four health levels a round when resting.  If the Dreadnought is active they may regenerate up to two health levels a round.
Level 5: The Dreadnought may regenerate five health levels a round while resting.  If the Dreadnought is active they may regenerate up to four health levels a round.

[ Regrowth ]

The Regrowth Rune works basically like the Regeneration Rune, and has been the deciding factor in a lot of Dreadnought's lives.  Unlike the first two runes in this series, the Regrowth Rune has the ability to regrow a limb, internal organ, or replace lost blood in the body.  For this reason most Dreadnoughts go after this rune with a passion.  The Regrowth Rune is represented by a figure of a man, who's arm is missing, but if you watch long enough, little particles of energy slowly reform the arm over a period of time.
Dreadnoughts with the Regrowth Rune may seem invincible in battle, as their limbs regrow in a matter of minutes, and no matter how much injury they take, they keep coming back.  As a Dreadnought increases their levels in this rune, the speed of regrowth grows rapidly.  At first it may takes days to regrow a body part, but once this rune is mastered, it may only take a matter of seconds for minor body parts, or a few minutes or hours for most of their body.

Level 1: The Dreadnought may regrow a small body part, a finger, some skin, or a toe, nothing bigger.
Level 2: The Dreadnought may regrow a slightly larger body part, a hand, a foot, part of an internal organ, nothing bigger.
Level 3: The Dreadnought may regrow a large body part, an arm, a leg, a full internal organ, nothing larger.
Level 4: The Dreadnought may regrow a very large part of their body, an arm and part of their torso, their lower body, or a big hole in their chest.  Most injuries that would cause death will be regrown at this level.
Level 5: The Dreadnought may regrow their head, most of their body mass, or just about anything else.

[ Resurrection ]

The usage of the Resurrection Rune comes under heavy fire and criticism by many people.  The religiously superstitious, and the radicals who believe differently than we do say that nobody should ever be brought back from the dead.  We disagree, in most cases a person has not yet completely died, the spirit still lingers for a period of minutes, or even years in some cases before it gives up the hope of being reunited with it's body.  As Dreadnought's we realize this because we can see, using the spiritual energy spectrum, the spirits around us.  Try explaining that to a 'holy man' and they're likely to call a holy war on you.  So, if you're going to use this rune, make sure it's in private, or right after a person is killed, making sure that the body is still warm.  If you can't wait, or if it's been a long time since they died, get another Dreadnought who can reshape their physical features so people don't suspect.  And remember, Using the Spirit Absorb rune, if you bring someone back to life, and they turn on you, it's your right to take their life, and spirit away from them permanently as repayment.  Remember, all Dreadnought's can be brought back from death, as we don't actually 'die' like many others do. Now that that's over, on to the Rune itself.
The Resurrection Rune works on the principle that spirits wish to be in their body even after death.  If you use the first runes in this series to rebuild the body, or to heal any wounds, you may, if the body is purified, invite the Spirit to inhabit the body once more.  This is a multipart process, that only takes a few seconds under the best conditions, or can take over a week under bad conditions.  The first step is cleansing.  This requires either the cleansing rune, for mild problems like poison, or the Purification rune, if they were killed by toxins.  The cleansing process washes all of the impurities out of the system, and generally isn't that pleasant of a process.  After cleansing comes healing and regrowth.  If the body is still mortally wounded when the spirit attempts to inhabit it again, nothing will happen, likewise, if the body is missing too many parts nothing will happen.  After healing comes the actual resurrection.  Spiritual energy is used to guide the spirit into the body, then bind the soul with it once more.  Yes, the body must be the original.  The Resurrection Rune is represented by a body with a translucent spirit over it.

As it so happens, this rune also does no get extra powers at higher levels, you only gain extra time to perform the Resurrection.

Level 1: The body may have been dead for a few minutes at most.
Level 2: The body may have been dead for a few hours at most.
Level 3: The body may have been dead for a few days at most.
Level 4: The body may have been dead for a few months at most, and it probably won't smell too good for a while afterwards.
Level 5: The body may have been dead for any amount of time, remember, it will take a lot of time to regrow an entire body out of bones, or bone dust.
If a Dreadnought has the Resurrection Rune themselves and they die, the process is automatically attempted and doesn't require outside assistance.
