...the Aural Blitz...

The Soul Berserkers are some of the fastest beings around. They can run a full mile, hit you twelve times, then be gone before you can chug a cup of water. Most of their opponents are dead before they even realize the fight started. But speed isn't everything. The Soul Berserkers can also use their aura, or at least the spiritual energy around them, to affect other spirits, or other people. This requires them to stand still. They can make weapons stronger by binding the souls of the dead into them, or by binding normal spirits into them. This makes them highly sought after when someone needs a weapon enchanted. Other than that, the Soul Berserkers are used as messengers by other Dreadnoughts, or as runners to deliver stuff. The Dragoons would normally do a lot more of the deliveries, but they have the habit of eating any food they get near. They generally prefer to max out their dexterity, and their wits.

[ Class Leader ]

Narin Grels [ Bio Available ]

[ Class Elder ]

Mirethien Lamacl

[ Runes ]

Speed     Aura

The Speed Rune series is used to make a Dreadnought move faster physically. And it's very good at what it does. The Aura Rune is used to affect spirits, but to use it the owner must stand still. It's a balance between static and dynamic.

[ Traits ]

Soul Berzerkers are generally very tall, and very thin individuals. If they get in the habit of absorbing others souls they may unlock some secrets, or powers, that are better left unknown. Some of them go insane.

Class Bonuses:

The Soul Berserkers gain a free point of Dexterity every time they are able to advance their stats. Soul Berserkers grow roughly an inch or so every few levels, making them tall, thin, and really good at running.

Class Restrictions:

Because they lead such active, and potentially violent lives, Soul Berserkers tend to have some physical drawbacks from the self-inflicted stress they put on their bodies. After a berserk, they'll have a "fit" of sorts, which varies from one berserker to the next. This type of reaction, which inflicts a health level of bashing damage on them which can't be soaked. This normally only happens after at least 5 full rounds of all out fighting occurs. Although it has been known to happen after prolonged running sessions of more than an hour. These fits normally only happen until the Soul Berserker gains full control of their Berserker rage. If not, they can actually die from it.

[ Opinions of the Other Classes ]

Blades of Life -- They trap souls within their own, we trap them in weapons, what’s the difference?

Delegates of Deviation -- Thank the gods that they can’t catch us, otherwise we’d never be able to get them the to stop talking.

Demons of Light -- So, you know any demons you don’t like?
Dragoon -- They sure can move when they want to, we’ll give them that.

Dream Shifters -- They’re so slow and boring.

Harbingers of Destruction -- Strength is worthless if you never hit your opponent.

Illusions of Perfection -- Ever wonder what happens when a demon gets bound into a machine?

Mountains of Air -- I wish they’d take their medicine.

NecroSeraphim -- A tool cannot direct itself with the same precision as the master.

Order of Chaos -- Quit calling me Forrest!!!

Shadahar's Talons -- Slow and steady gets left behind.

Templars of Twilight -- Fast, but not fast enough.

Waves of Flame -- That ice can be damned annoying.
