[ Water ] The Water Rune, like most of the other Elemental Runes, is used to create an amount of the element where there normally is none. It is also used to control the Element to an extent once it has been created. The Water rune works by drawing the moisture out of the air around you, in the cases of higher levels it may draw the water directly from the elemental plane of water. The Water Rune is represented by a small wave that appears to flow towards one side. Any water created with the Water Rune is completely pure H2O. It will last indefinitely if it is bottled in a pure environment. Level 1: Trickle- A small amount of water will flow from any solid object or from the air itself, it will only put out about a cup a round. Level 2: Stream- A larger amount of water will flow from any surface you choose, it will put out about a gallon of water a round. Level 3: Rain- Makes it start raining in a large area outside, or in a small enclosed area indoors. There don't have to be clouds in the sky. Level 4: Bubble- Creates a bubble of water up to 12 feet in diameter. If this is formed around a person they may drown. Level 5: River- Causes a huge amount of water to form wherever the Dreadnought wants it. It'll put out roughly 1000 gallons of water a round. [ Ice ] The ice rune is another rune that was unfortunately lost for a period of time, but was lately found again. The Ice rune is used to alter the temperature of water and other liquids. Most of the time freezing them solid, along with whatever happens to be inside them. The Ice rune is represented by a snowflake. Level 1: Heavy frost- This causes a thin layer of ice to form over water, and a heavy layer of frost of form on most objects within the area of affect. Level 2: Ice Ball- A small ball of ice that causes anything it hits to instantly drop to 31 degrees. This causes frostbite in most people, and will freeze any body of water smaller than a pond or stream. Level 3: Permafrost- This level causes the ground all around the user to freeze solid. This will also freeze a small lake solid. Level 4: Hail- This isn't normal hail by any stretch of the imagination. It's normally over 4 inches in diameter, and each little ball acts like the level 2 power Ice Ball. Level 5: Cryo Ball- A very small, blue ball, this has been dubbed Ice-9 by some of the waves of flame. This ball causes anything with any liquid in it to freeze to almost absolute zero instantly. Objects with no moisture in them also freeze solid, and become very brittle. [ Liquification ] The Liquification Rune is used to either shape, or fix things, or to destroy, and liquefy things. It is represented by a small stone shaped object that shifts to a water droplet, and then back again. This Rune works in the following way. It shifts the molecular structure of an item from solid, air, or plasma, and shifts it into a liquid state without using heat, or cold. This process in and of itself does not usually cause harm to something. Living creatures can be shifted into a fluid, and then back again without endangering their life, however, shifting them, then scooping out a handful, then shifting them back, could kill them. Each level has two figures, the first is the type of thing that may be liquefied, the second is the volume that can be affected. Remember, you don't have to fully liquefy something just because you can. Rocks can be partially liquefied, molded into a desired shape, and then solidified again. As can trees, and other things. Level 1: 1 foot cube/ Dirt, sand, snow, other granular type objects. Level 2: 3 foot cube/ Sandstone, limestone, ice, dead organic material. Level 3: 10 foot cube/ Rock, soft metals, plants. Level 4: 30 foot cube/ Metals, gems, fabricated items, small animals. Level 5: 100 foot cube/ Humanoids, large creatures, magical items. [ Time ] The Time rune is used by some Dreadnoughts to manipulate the flow of time itself, by others it is used to travel in time to other places. It is represented by a set of two waves that flow opposite each other on the outsides of a mobius strip. Each Level confers a certain amount of control on the time around you, at early levels you can only move a few seconds of time, at higher levels, who knows. Level 1: A Dreadnought may change any event within 30 seconds of their current position in time. This includes rewinding time, or looking ahead to see what will happen and changing it. Level 2: A Dreadnought may change any event within 2 full minutes of their current position in time. This includes rewinding time, and looking ahead to see what may happen. Level 3: A Dreadnought may change any event within 30 minutes of their current position in time. Level 4: A Dreadnought may change any event within a full day of their current position in time. Level 5: A Dreadnought may change any event within an amount of time equal to the number of energy points they can spend. |
