...the Time Warp...

The Waves of Flame are an interesting bunch. They're either pyros, or they love the water. Some are both. Most of them have one of two dispositions. They either have a slow temper that eventually bursts and destroys everything around them, or they have a quick temper that flares up at the slightest provocation and leaves a smoldering mess in its wake. Either way, it's fun to watch, as long as you're not the target. Slow temper waves usually go for the mental stats as their primary, quick burners usually go for physicals.

If I have to explain this one…

[ Traits ]

A fire/water elementalist has a dual nature, flame nature, and water nature. Generally the flame nature is warlike, fights viscously with no let up, but cools down quickly once the action is over. The water nature is typically soft spoken, quiet, and caring. However there have been instances where the two have been reversed.

Class Bonuses:

Waves of Flame are virtually immune to heat and cold. Temperature fluctuations don't bother them in the least. Unfortunately this protection does not extend to their clothes. While they might walk through a blazing blast furnace unscathed, their clothing will be probably be ashes. The Waves grow at a very slow pace, usually only an inch or two every ten levels. Most of them don't care though, since height is only relevant till you're a smoldering chunk of coal.

Class Restrictions:

The Waves don't generally get along very well with the non-Dreadnoughts. Something about temperature fluctuations. Oh well, that's their loss. Waves suffer a +2 difficulty to control the urge to burn, or freeze things.

[ Opinions of the Other Classes ]

Blades of Life -- I’d listen to the complaints if I actually cared.

Delegates of Deviation -- Is it hot in here? Or is it just them?

Demons of Light -- At least someone likes the fire as much as we do. Must be homesick.

Dragoon -- Slow roasting makes the meat more tender.

Dream Shifters -- Keep whining, I’ll make it hotter.

Harbingers of Destruction -- I prefer mine blackened, then served frozen.

Illusions of Perfection -- What a clever little machine. You mind if I laser etch my name through it?

Mountains of Air -- What’s with the bear costumes and the shovels?

NecroSeraphim -- You know what I love about undead? They make great incense.

Order of Chaos -- No, that burning sensation isn’t hemorrhoids…

Shadahar's Talons -- Why don’t you take a break? I’ll handle the rest.

Soul Berserkers -- Slip and slide…

Templars of Twilight -- Finally, someone who understands.
